When I first met up with Signe & Scott and having a good chat with them I knew this day was going to be a little different. My first stop was to meet up with the couple at Dalhousie Castle where I spent an hour in the beautiful gardens taking photos of the couple. I left them to have some time with each other and headed off to the main venue, the National Mining Museum at Dalkeith. It was 2 days of extremes from the stunning beauty of Loch Ard photographing another wedding the day before and if you like something more urban , the museum is an amazing location for a wedding.
I was really looking forward to shooting as I had been for a visit previously and the guide said we could get in almost everywhere for photos….even down in the mines coal face.
The buildings have these old red brick walls and theres old wagons and a train lying about too.
As per the day before, a very chilled an relaxed wedding and Signe & Scott did the wedding they wanted, very informal and walking down the aisle together. It was a truly unique and wonder full wedding day.
Brilliant couple and a big thank you to Signe who was up for getting in amongst the old mine builds in her wedding dress!
My congratulations to the new Mr & Mrs Airlie
